Hello, I'm Lily, a teenager from England that has a bit of an obsession with all things Sylvanian Families :) I currently have a pretty large collection of Sylvanian Families, including homes, furniture, and of course, figures! I have been collecting since I was four years old, so I have built up quite a collection over the fourteen years I have been collecting for.
I love buying and making things for my Sylvanian Families so I'm always really busy juggling Sylvanians, school work and my social life! But somehow, I seem to always find time to sit back, relax and update my blog
My favourite Sylvanian Families are the vintage Tomy or JP items, however I still collect newer figures and pieces that take my fancy! My favourite Sylvanian Family figure is Tilly Dappledawn the fawn bunny, and she was one of my first figures :)
If you want to ask me anything, please feel welcome to email me at: lily_kathleen_powell@hotmail.com, and I will reply as soon as possible :)
Please do enjoy my blog, but please request my permission before using any content or pictures! Thank you :)
Naww what a cute blog ^^
ReplyDeleteHi Lily
DeleteI have the tomy mansion that you mentioned on 6th April, because my older cousins had an obsession that they passed on to me and they gave all their old stuff when they got too old for them. When I get the Buckelys, they will move in. Your website is sooooo cute.
Lily can I borrow photos for my site
DeleteWow that's really cool, you are lucky :-)
DeleteIf you'd like to use a picture, please email me at lily_kathleen_powell@hotmail.com stating your name, website address, the photos you'd like to use and the reason why. Thanks, Lily :-)
Thanks Lily. I am not doing my site anymore but can I still use photos
DeleteHello :) would you be okay with me using a few of your photos of some promotional figures on my website? I'm trying to create an encyclopedia of figures. I of course will link all photos back to this website & state they are from here :)
DeleteThis is just too CUTE! You are an amazingly creative young lady and I cannot wait to share your blog with my girls (ages 7 and 4 1/2). My eldest is in first grade and also has a creative streak so I know she is going to love reading your cute stories. Maybe it will inspire her to create her own little stories too! ;-) Thank you from an American mom living in Japan!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! Wow, you live in Japan? Japan has the awesomest Sylvanians:D I hope they enjoy my stories, they will be updated shortly! Writing stories is really great fun, she should try it:) Thanks again, Lily xx

ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable website! My daughter loves Sylvanian as well - and your blog is a great inspiration :) We'll be sure to follow!
Thank you so much, I hope you enjoy my blog! :D
DeleteHi Lily,
ReplyDeleteI am currently living in Cambodia, and I love your blog! I love it how you write stories for each one of your Sylvanian figures :)
Where do get all the ideas of your stories from?
- Emma, =D
Hello Emma,
DeleteThank you very much for your kind words - I love it when people comment on my blog.
I read a lot of books and I have a very active imagination, so sometimes stories just randomly come to my head and I write them down! :)
Sorry for the late reply,
Lily :)
Bonjour Lily,
Lily

ReplyDeleteHi Lily, I love your blog and was interested to know what you used as grass and where you found your background scenery. My sylvanians are set up in a bookcase but it's rather dark and this might just help lighten it up some what. Thanks Michelle
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle, the grass is from an online dollshouse store, it's relatively easy to get hold of I think! As for the background, I found a very large image on the internet and cut it into 6 A4 pieces and printed them out on photo paper before pasting them together on a big piece of cardboard :-) Hope this helps!x
DeleteI love your blog! keep making stories, they're fun to read!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the feedback, I will do! :-) x
DeleteLIly hi im a new blogger of the sylvianian families and i just want your feedback waht template you used and how you got those pages for your blogs and i just want to start a fresh blog. btw i love your blog i read it all the time
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm really sorry but I made this blog years and years ago and I honestly can't remember how I actually did it :') I think there are some helpful tutorials on Youtube though, if that helps? x
DeleteAwww... Reading the stories on your blog reminds me of when I was little. :) Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteAhh thank you so much! I am finally back :-) x
